Your USA Distributors

Amanda Jokerst and Luke Sivertson are incredibly honored to be the US distributors of Rainforest Remedies. Amanda began her journey towards expertise in women's health and healing in The Matrona Quantum Midwifery program in 2012-2013. Shortly afterwards, she discovered Maya Abdominal Therapy, completing her Professional and Advanced Pregnancy Care trainings in 2014, and Certification training with Rosita in Belize in 2015. Amanda also attended the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism and the Eclectic School of Herbal Medicine to continue soaking up as much knowledge as possible to help her community, becoming a Certified Clinical Herbalist and Nutritionist in 2016. That same year she moved back to her hometown of St. Louis, MO to start a dual Maya Abdominal Therapy and Clinical Herbal Medicine practice, and shortly after founded Forest & Meadow Herbal Shop and Clinic. With the help of her husband, Luke, it quickly grew into a full service, brick and mortar, modern day apothecary and wellness clinic. Now in its 5th year as a storefront and 7th as a business, Forest & Meadow offers over 250 organic and ethically wildcrafted bulk herbs and prides itself in handcrafting small batch, high quality tea blends, tinctures, syrups, and topical remedies, as well as custom herbal compounding for other local and regional herbal and naturopathic practitioners in their in house commercial kitchen. Additionally, one of Forest & Meadow's greatest contributions to St Louis is its knowledgeable staff herbalists who are able to help customers with their questions about herbs and health with evidence-based approaches and herbal safety in mind. Amanda also just completed a multiyear program to become a Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner and Sexual Health Educator through Justisse College. Luke's background is in children's behavioral health and education, and he continues to teach after school elementary orchestra and coach soccer amidst Forest & Meadow's continuing expansion and growth. When not at the shop, Luke and Amanda enjoy hiking, canoeing, board games, and playing fiddle and banjo together, as well as caring for their 3 pups, backyard ducks, and urban garden. They are very excited about stepping into the sacred work of connecting people with the healing power of these potent rainforest plants.
