Ingredients: Jackass Bitters (Neurolena lobata)
To prepare as a tea: Boil 1/4 cup dried herbs in 3 cups of water for 10 minutes, steep for an additional 15 minutes, then strain and drink. Take 1 cup before meals 3 times daily or as desired.
To prepare as a tincture: Place all of the herbs in a clean quart jar. Fill it with alcohol, vinegar, or glycerin. Cover and shake daily. After 6 weeks, strain and discard plant material. Store the remaining liquid in a clean, dry jar or bottle. Standard dose - 1 dropperful 3x/day, or as directed, in a small amount of water.
To make Flu Away tincture: Add 1 chopped bulb of garlic with skin and 1 Tablespoon of cayenne pepper to the jar with the herbs and follow the instructions above. Add the juice of half a lime or lemon in with the water when taking this tincture.
Not for use during pregnancy, in individuals with autoimmune conditions, or for children under 1 year of age.
